Attendees will play a game that could be a useful tool in Applied Improvisation for meetings, conversation starters and demonstrates new insights into how to discuss a relevant topic.
 Using the Spolin Game “Throwing Light”, presenters will discuss an unstated topic related to Improvisation. The audience is invited to participate in the discussion with ground rules that will produce a fruitful and involving conversation. Session is over when everyone knows the subject without ever having it mentioned.


Paul "Sparky" Johnson

Paul “Sparky” Johnson studied and worked closely with, the late Paul Sills – founder of The Second City and son of Viola Spolin. For over thirty years, Sparky was a full-time drama professor with the Augustana Faculty of the University of Alberta.
